Our Bighorn Sheep hunts are draw hunts and are probably some of the most unique sheep hunts in the country. These rams are located in the high desert country of Southwest Idaho. This is flat sagebrush country with deep canyons and no mountains within 30 miles. There are 8 permits in my unit for rams. Chances of you drawing are about 1 in 25 and changes from year to year. The hunt cost is $7000 and it's a 7-day, 1 on 1 hunt. Hunters should be in at least average condition and willing to walk.

Sheep applications will be out in early April and all applications must be received in the State Fish & Game office by April 30th to be eligible.
